hey there! Jamie here.

I am so glad Laura and I have started this blog and are able to share our insights with everyone. We found a mutual love for Kristen Ashley's books and it only grew from there.

Reading for me is always a great escape (and a learning opportunity, oddly enough!).  I always look for new words in books to expand my vocab - and yes, I know that's odd - but it's what I do. :)

Even better, there are not many things that compare to getting lost in a good book that gives you all the feels. Laughing one minute and crying the next. And I can't forget the ones that put you in an odd depression or you can't figure out how you feel while reading it, yet you can't put the book down. That's the joy of reading to me and why I love it.

I am glad I found a book lover in Laura so I have someone to share my random sentiments with (and believe me there have been many!). Now we are able to share our reading journey with you.

Welcome to Between Friends Book Blog!

Hello Friends!

Welcome to the first post for our new blog!!!  Jamie & I (Laura) decided to start blogging about our love of books because we wanted to create a space where fellow bibliophiles (man I LOVE that word!) could come to see what we've been reading, talk about favorite books, spread the word about favorite authors, & give us some books to add to our TBR!

Now we are totally new to this whole blogging thing 😁, so please be patient as we learn this whole process. Hopefully in the next couple of days we'll be able to post some our reviews! In the meantime check us out on Instagram & see what we've been reading so far!
